How wonderfully he conveys light, I´m particularly fond of the first window because of that warm summerday feeling, one can almost sense the heat in the air.

The second is a fine drawing but it looks strangely austere in comparison, although his daughters are in the window.

His ships probably have more fans, my father loved detailed pictures of tall ships since he had been a marine cadet on one as a young teen.
