Short People sharing Short People thoughts on Short People things, basking in Short People sunshine, way back when time never ends as it can´t, in childhood. Once that happens, later, its moving stillness comes back in a rush at watching them do Their Thing. The light was different, then, wasn´t it?

And a lovely languid lady reclining in the shadow of the eve or is this daytime, I wonder; is she reading or writing? That warm red is one even blondes can wear though perfect for the dark and comely with skin like honey.

Childhood as it never was, perhaps; I had a happy enough childhood, but have found more joy in life as I have got older.

Vuillard is really one of my most favorite painters. It's his way of painting that is so wonderful. To me, the paint is the subject of a Vuillard painting. He always surpasses the beauty of reality, never reproduces or copies it.

I agree entirely; I always think that if I had been a painter, he is the person whom I would like to be able to paint like. Along with Corot perhaps.
