Walter Greaves, Regatta Day, 1862

People are watching a boat-race from one of the London bridges; very fine in its semi-naive style. As far as I know, he never painted anything else as good. He was a son of a Chelsea boat-builder who hung around with Whistler, and many of paintings are pale imitations of Whistler's.
